Archaeological Museum of the Phlegraean Fields – Baia Castle
The large 16th-century fortification (6 hectares) hostes the magnificent Archaeological Museum of the Phlegraean Fields, where you can
admire the most beautiful artifacts found in Cuma, Bacoli, Pozzuoli, and Liternum. Statues and other works of art will tell the greatness of the Phlegraean past. From the Castle, located on a rocky spur, it’s possible to enjoy some of the most beautiful views of the Gulf of Pozzuoli.
Open every day, except Mondays, from 9.00 to 13.00 (last admission). It’s possible to visit it with the single ticket of the Phlegraean circuit valid for 3 days and for 4 sites of the Archaeological Park of the Phlegraean Fields at a cost of € 10.00 or with an access ticket to the single site at a cost of € 5.00. Visit to the Phlegraean Fields’ Archaeological Museum
Open from 9.00 to 14.30. It is possible to visit it with a single ticket for the Phlegraean circuit (€ 8.00 includes 4 sites of the Archaeological Park of the Phlegraean Fields) or single ticket access (€ 4.00).
Visit to the Park of Villa Ferretti
From the Archaeological Museum, with a walk of about 10 minutes, it is possible to reach the Park of Villa Ferretti, which is equipped with umbrellas for a pleasant break. Open from 9.30 to 18.00
Castello di Baia beach
About 20 minutes walking from the Aragonese Castle of Baia, there is the boarding point to the splendid private beach of the Castle. You can reach the beach, with private beach and services, with a small boat. Unfortunately, there is no free beach.
Departure of IRIS boat tour
