Flavian Amphitheater

The third-largest Roman amphitheater in Italy was completed by the Flavian dynasty emperors and had a hosting capacity of 40,000 spectators. Walking through the arches and the majestic undergrounds, it almost seems to hear the gladiators and wild beasts’ shouts

open every day but Tuesday, from 9.00 to 18.00 (last admission). It is possible to visit it with a single ticket of the Phlegraean circuit valid for three days that includes 4 sites of the Archaeological Park of the Phlegraean Fields at the cost of € 10.00 or with single ticket access at the price of € 5.00. From this stopping point, it is possible to have a pleasant walk leading to Pozzuoli city center and various points of interest, also reachable from stopping points 12 and 13

In the wonderful city park there are games for children if you need to relax the little ones and large green areas where you can spend some free time or enjoy a street food meal.

“Pozzuoli” station of the Cumana Railway

underground line connects the Campi Flegrei with Naples, the directions are towards Naples and Torregaveta.

Archaeological Path of the Rione Terra

Within walking distance, you can reach the Rione Terra and visit the ancient fortress.

Walk in Pozzuoli

: This stopping point is in the upper part of Pozzuoli. However, it’s just 10 minutes walking from the port, the historic center, and the Cumana railway.

Pozzuoli Metro Line 2 stop

From this stopping point, it is easy to reach the Pozzuoli station of the Metropolitan Line 2, connecting the Phlegraean city to Naples
