Poetic foliage on Monte Gauro
The name Gauro comes from the Greek gaûros, "majestic": a name that seems made for this mountain, which at 331 meters is the highest peak in the Campi Flegrei.
We will walk through the Mediterranean scrubland and the colors of autumn, reaching the Hermitage of Sant'Angelo and then the summit of Monte Gauro, among open panoramas and trails that light up with new shades in this season.
Along the way we will stop for a snack together, accompanied by readings of poetry dedicated to nature.
