The Archaeological Museum of Pithecusae is certainly one of the excellence of our Region.
Its archaeological finds discovered in 1952 in Lacco Ameno by the archaeologist Giorgio Buchner, can show us the history and daily life of the first colony of Magna Grecia. The famous Nestor’s Cup, into the famous museum, represents, furthermore, the first example of Greek writing in the West. The tour will continue to the discovery of the historical center of Lacco Ameno.
