The excursion will start in the chestnut wood that dominates the inside of the mouth of Monte Gauro. On the side of Monte Barbaro we will cross the dense vegetation that borders Carney Park. We will go up the tufaceous slopes of one of the oldest volcanic structures of the Phlegraean Fields. We will reach the summit, in search of an ancient ruin: this point will give us a breathtaking view.
